Aeon CineGrey 3D® features an internal framework beneath an EDGE FREE® external wrap-around material. EDGE FREE CLR® means there is an internal framework with wraparound material bordered with an ultra-thin bezel. The screen uses a Ceiling Light Rejection technology. An LED back-lighting Kit is included for added aesthetics. The CineGrey 3D® material is a reference quality front projection screen material formulated for environments with minimial control over room lighting. It was designed to enhance picture brightness, offer accurate color fidelity, and improve contrast levels. The CineGrey 3D® is best for family rooms, educational facilities, conference rooms or any applications in which incidient light is a factor. Typical matte white surfaces wash out the images when ambient light cannot be controlled. Aeon CLR® Series
The Aeon CLR® is an EDGE FREE CLR® fixed frame screen that uses Elite’s innovative StarBright CLR® (Ceiling Light Rejecting) material. Its serriform optical surface lens microstructure negates the washout effect of ambient light especially from overhead sources. This also enables the material to provide contrast levels that are 100 times greater than that of standard matte white projection screens. StarBright CLR® is specifically designed for ultra-short-throw projectors to provide a large-screen performance in the close quarters of most residential or even training environments. Aeon CLR® with StarBright CLR® offers a wide viewing angle, neutral color temperature, and enhanced picture contrast in a theater-grade image. The versatile Ambient Light Rejecting WhiteBoardScreen™ has enhanced reflectivity: This whiteboard projection screen uses our unique StarBright™ 4 (4.0 gain) material for in-line seating. Its highly reflective projection surface enhances brightness and contrast while countering the washout effect of ambient light. It is perfect for rooms with high ambient light, such as persentations rooms, when used with standard throw projectors.
Sable Frame CineGrey 3D® Series
The Sable Frame CineGrey3D® features the CineGrey 3D® angular reflective front projection material. It is designed to reject ambient light while maintaining superb picture quality. The CineGrey 3D® is the perfect solution for rooms that have little or no control over incidental light. This means that it’s an ideal fit for family rooms as well as lecture halls, boardrooms, sports bars, training facilities, and other business environments. In addition, the CineGrey 3D® increases projector brightness 1.2 times the amount. This is perfect for low lumens output projectors!
The CineGrey 3D® is superior to traditional white or gray materials in its ability to maintain a sharp, bright image regardless of ambient light. The angular reflective material incorporates a diffusion layer over a high reflective surface. This causes direct light from the projector to reflect squarely into the viewer’s field of vision while the outer contrast layer enhances image quality while absorbing indirect ambient light.
Starling Tab-Tension 2 CineGrey 5D® Series
The Starling Tab-Tension 2 CineGrey 5D® Series is an electric motorized retratable projector screen that uses an Ambient Light Rejecting material. The retractable feature provides flexibility to mounting the screen without dedicating its designated location to exclusively one purpose.
