Elite makes a variety of projection screen material. Some are matte white, while others are acoustically transparent, rear projection, or ambient light rejecting. There are even versions that you can write on with a dry erase pen. Here they all are:
AcousticPro 1080P2
The AcousticPro 1080P2 has a matte white surface with a 1.0 gain that provides excellent color neutrality for superb color reproduction along with wide diffusion uniformity. The angular weave material is designed to allow wall-speaker sound to breathe through the screen while eliminating the visual artifact known as moiré effect. The precision angled mesh of the material allows viewers to enjoy a visually superior presentation with strong color neutrality and artifact-free performance. The material is perfect for use with native 1080P projectors for home cinema and commercial applications.
AcousticPro 1080P3
The AcousticPro 1080P3 is an acoustically transparent front projection material. The angular weave eliminates the moire effect while presenting warm neutral colors for today’s high definition 1080P (1920×1080) projectors. The AcousticPro1080P3 allows speaker placement behind while allowing an exceptional acoustically transparent performance.
AcousticPro UHD
The AcousticPro UHD (ultra-high definition) is a moiré-free self-supported acoustically transparent front projection screen material. The dense synthetic weave is compatible with Ultra-High Definition/4K resolutions while mitigating light penetration for a brighter picture. The AcousticPro UHD design maximizes sound penetration with minimal attenuation without compromising picture quality. The AcousticPro UHD material’s wide diffusion uniformity offers a broad viewing angle with superb picture quality across the entire surface.This provides equal brightness levels on or off axis.
AirBright 3D2
Elite’s AirBright 3D2 is a Polarized 3D silver front projection screen material. It is designed to preserve polarization for passive 3D Dual Projector Systems and has arguably proven itself to be the best solution for three-dimensional home theater presentations. It provides superb brightness and contrast for either a regular 2-dimensional or full-immerision 3D imaging. The material supports 2.0 gain reflectivity with strong black levels and a wide 120° viewing angle. These features make the AirBright 3D2 ideal for professional grade passive 3D applications in either a commercial or residential environment.
CineGrey
CineGrey (Tension High Contrast Grey) is designed for low contrast DLP and LCD Home Cinema Projectors. Its superior flatness makes the CineGrey ideal for home theater use. It enhances black levels while minimizing loss in color reproduction. Uniform diffusion surface has black-backing to eliminate light penetration and is easily washable with mild soap and water. *Manufacturer’s Tip: if your projector’s contrast ratio is more than 2000:1, we recommend you use CineWhite material for a brighter picture.
CineGrey 3D®
The CineGrey 3D® is a reference quality front projection screen material formulated for environments with minimal control over room lighting. It was designed to enhance picture brightness, offer accurate color fidelity, and improve contrast levels. The CineGrey 3D® is best for family rooms, educational facilities, conference rooms or any applications in which incident light is a factor. Typical matte white surfaces wash out the images when ambient light cannot be controlled. The CineGrey 3D® is the best choice for having a projected image with a balanced color temperature and contrast under such conditions. It provides flat spectral response for an accurate color balance in dark room environments as well for reference quality applications. The CineGrey 3D® is ready for the next-generation of high-performance video.
CineGrey 5D®
The CineGrey 5D® is an angular reflective front projection material designed to reject ambient light while maintaining superb picture quality. The CineGrey 5D® is the perfect solution for rooms that have little or no control over incidental light. This means that it’s an ideal fit for family rooms as well as lecture halls, boardrooms, sports bars, training facilities, and other business environments. In addition, the CineGrey 5D® increases projector brightness 1.5 times the amount. This is perfect for low lumens ouput projectors! The CineGrey 5D® is superior to traditional white or gray materials in its ability to maintain a sharp, bright image regardless of ambient light. The angular reflective material incorporates a diffusion layer over a highl reflective surface. This causes direct light from the projector to reflect squarely into the viewer’s field of vision while the outer contrast layer enhances image quality while reflecting indirect ambient light.
CineWhite®
CineWhite® (Tension Matte White) has broad light dispersion through diffusion uniformity, black & white contrast and true color rendition making it the most versatile in Elite’s tensions screen product lines. This tension PVC surface is the best choice for today’s high-contrast ratio projectors in commercial or residential presentations. The CineWhite® material equals the performance to our MaxWhite® product, but improves the experience with the superior surface flatness. Uniform diffusion surface has black-backing to eliminate light penetration and is easily washable with mild soap and water.
CineWhite® UHD
CineWhite® UHD (Tension Matte White) is a reference-grade 1.15 gain projector screen material that is certified by the world renowned Imaging Science Foundation for its superb color temperature, contrast and black level performance. It has wide diffusion uniformity that allows equal brightness levels over a 180° viewing angle. The tension PVC material construction has the needed pliability to maximize flatness in a “roll-up” projection surface. The versatile properties of this material make it a natural fit with either standard or short-throw projectors. The material is also suited for either residential or commercial application. The material is easily washed using a mild soap and water solution.
Designer Cut Series
The Designer Cut Series is Elite’s selection of pre-cut projection screen material swatches. The swatches are prepared for use in custom solutions and other improvised installations according to the integrator’s needs.
DynaWhite
DynaWhite is a professionally engineered theater-grade PVC material for outdoor use. It eliminates all of the problems encountered when trying to project on regular sheet fabrics. Its 1.1 gain matte white projection surface is texture to avoid hot-spotting while providing color neutrality, and a wide viewing angle.
MaxWhite®
MaxWhite® screen material is the most versatile screen surface for front projection presentations. This material provides the widest possible viewer angles with perfect diffusion uniformity while giving precise definition, image color reproduction and black & white contrast. Screen surface has black-backing to avoid light penetration and can be cleaned safely with mild soap and water. Woven screen material is a multi-layer, cross-array coated with a matte white reflective compound.
MaxWhite® B
Elite’s MaxWhite® B material is a matte white material formulated to meet our conventional screens that delivers optimal picture quality. Its neutral 1.0 gain allows for the widest possible viewing angles of 180° (90° Left and Right). The matte surface of the MaxWhite® B offers superb diffusion uniformity while delivering radiant image and color reproduction. The screen surface has black-backing to avoid light penetration and can be cleaned safely with mild soap and water.
MaxWhite® Fiberglass (FG)
MaxWhite® Fiberglass (FG) is fiberglass backed for added stiffness which provides the flattest possible non-tensioned screen surface with universal applications. This material provides wide viewing uniform diffusion while giving precise definition, color reproduction n and black & white contrast. The screen surface has a black-backing to eliminate light penetration, is mildew resistant and washable with mild soap and water.
PowerGain
The PowerGain is perfect for environments where total ambient light control cannot be attained. This is an angular reflective material that provides crisp color reproduction, black & white contrast and resists hot spotting in the presence of ambient light. The textured pearlescent material has black-backing to avoid light penetration and can be safely cleaned with mild soap and water.
Spectra White Fiberglass
Elite’s new Spectra White Fiberglass is a self-supporting matte white front projection screen surface with fiberglass backing. The fiberglass backing reduces the amount of curling on the edges that common non-tensioned materials are susceptible to. This feature helps maintain flatness throughout the entire material. The Spectra White Fiberglass produces outstanding images that are rich in color and contrast in environments with controlled lighting. Offers a broad viewing angle with wide diffusion uniformity for a clear bright image from any angle. The screen surface has a black–backing to eliminate light penetration, is mildew resistant, and washable with mild soap & water.
StarBright™ 4
The StarBright™ 4 material has a unique optical coating that enhances picture clarity regardless of an ambient light presence. The Angular-Reflective surface is coated with a transparency dry-erase layer for use as a white board while enhancing true color rendition from its highly reflective qualities. StarBright™ 4 material will enhance image brightness 4x more than the standard matte-white material and is your best dual function for White Board and Front Projection for use in training rooms with ambient light.
StarBright CLR®
StarBright CLR® is a ceiling light-rejecting front projection material designed specifically for tabletop-mounted ultra-short-throw projectors. The StarBright CLR® features a multi-layer optical lens structure that absorbs off-axis light from above while providing a clear image. This allows the picture to be free from washing out the projected image.
VersaWhite
VersaWhite Material performs as versatile as a Matte White screen material with the addition of being a dry-erase surface as well. The surface is coated with a scratch-resistant nanotech resin and transparent dry-erase layer for use as a white board while keeping uniform diffusion and enhancing true color rendition.
WraithVeil
WraithVeil is our rear projection screen material. It has a high gain performance for applications with a high ambient light intrusion. Its 2.2 gain configuration is ideal for events such as clubs, restaurants, trade shows, meeting rooms, and outside evening presentations. Its special surface coating enhances color reproduction and black level contrast with wide uniformity for large audiences. Seamless screen sizes are available in sizes up to 200″.
WraithVeil 2
The WraithVeil 2 screen is an off axis rear projection projector material for a variety of rear-mounted projector arrays. It is ideal for events such as clubs, restaurants, trade shows, meeting rooms, and outside evening presentations.
WraithVeil Dual
The WraithVeil Dual is a 2-directional flexible vinyl projection screen material. It is designed to accommodate either front or rear projection. This versatile material eliminates the need to swap out the projection material to accommodate a front or rear projector array. It offers a 150° wide viewing angle and color balance for a variety of presentations. The WraithVeil Dual performs best under controlled room lighting, but is capable of providing excellent performance with mild levels of ambient light when using a high lumens standard or ultra/short-throw projector.
