Q: Can I use my manual/electric Elite projection screen as a window shade to block the sunlight?
A: No, Elite manual and electric projection screens are not designed for use as a window curtain and should never be exposed to direct sunlight.  Prolonged exposure to solar radiation will destroy synthetic materials and such damage is not covered by our standard warranty.

Q: What preventative maintenance does Elite Screens recommend for electric screens?
A: Elite strongly recommends using either a standard surge protector or a power conditioner on all electric projection screens.

Q: How can I clean the MaxWhite® FG (matte white) material on the Saker screen?
A: The screen material can be cleaned with mild soap and water.

Q: Can I increase the Top Black Border on my screen?

Q: What is the power cable length of the Saker Series Electric Screen?
A: The power cable length for Saker Series models below 150″ is approximately 70.8″ (1.8M), models 150″ and above is approximately 98.4″ (2.5M). Note: This measurement is accurate for USA only, other countries may be equipped with different lengths for each model.

Q: I am interested in buying an in-ceiling trim kit for my Saker electric screen but I notice you don’t provide it. Why is that?
A: We don’t offer an in- ceiling trim kit for the Saker series because we already have another screen with the same material for that. The VMAX 2 is an electric roll-up screen that uses the exact same material as the Saker series but it’s casing accommodates an in-ceiling trim kit. We have many sizes and aspect ratios of this screen to choose from.
