Can you recommend a rear-projection screen that is just less than 15-feet wide?

It is always important to determine what each screen installation is for.  This will enable you to find the appropriate size, material, and aspect ratio.  This discussion below references a typical discussion involving a rear-projection (RP) projector screen and how it will be used.

[17:54] Customer: Looking for a 16′ rear-projection screen, low-voltage ceiling mounted

[17:56] Customer: Can you suggest a model? Aspect ratio of 16:10, with wide viewing angle.

[17:59] Rick: These screens are currently made in 16:9 aspect ratios to accommodate the HDTV native format of projectors used for residential and hospitality venues in which rear-projection electric screens are typically used. 16:10 is more common for laptop or PowerPoint presentations. Is this what you are intending to do? Are you using it for a conference room instead?

[18:00] Customer: Actually, it is and thanks for the clarification. That said, the customer does intend to use 16:9 content as well. I’m sure if we change the output on the projector, we can make it work. The client is not that fussed.

[18:00] Customer: Do you have a screen that’s close to 15’ wide but perhaps a little less than that.

[18:01] Rick: I have two options for you. One is about 13 feet across and the other is about 14.5 feet in width.
