Transcripts:
- [18:31] Rick: Hello, how may I help you.
- [18:31] Liv: Hi. I have a quick question
- [18:32] Liv: I am looking at buying a 135″ screen I saw on Amazon. I am confused between “3D” and regular “cinegrey” or if it will work with my projector. Can you guide me please?
- [18:32] Liv: Is 3D solely for 3D or is it better quality?
- [18:32] Liv: I really don’t care much about 3D
- [18:33] Rick: Sure, this is a great question and I’d be glad to help you.
- [18:33] Rick: Let me ask, do you have full control of your lighting?
- [18:34] Liv: Yes
- [18:34] Liv: Actually there is “some” light
- [18:35] Rick: Okay, do you currently have the projector? If you do, do you know the projector’s lumens or brightness?
- [18:36] Rick: The standard “Cinegrey” is a dull matte-gray to assist older projectors that had high output (brightness) but had limited performance in contrast and in the black/white dynamic range.
- [18:36] Liv: I have a Sony projector. 1200 lumens.
- [18:36] Liv: it’s a 1080 LCD projector. I intend to upgrade in couple of months to 4k.
- [18:38] Rick: The Cinegrey 3d material is designed to filter out ambient light so you won’t experience the washout effect under normal room lighting conditions. The material is active 3D, 4k and UHD ready so it will work with either your current projector or that 4K unit in your future plans.
- [18:39] Rick: Here is the official company video for this product:

- [18:41] Liv: Okay. What about edge free etc.
- [18:42] Rick: I’m glad you asked. It is our hottest product right now. The framework is internal with a wrap-around material. It’s featured in the video link I just sent and here is the product page. https://elitescreens.com/front/front/productdetail/product/37
- [18:42] Liv: ok, I’m taking this all in right now.
- [18:45] Liv: Great. Will work better with 4k projector I assume?
- [18:45] Rick: Yes, it will work great with 4K projectors.
- [18:48] Liv: Is the frame on this moveable to adjust the screen or is it “fixed”?
- [18:48] Rick: Once mounted and depending of your bracket placement you can slide it left and right but this is design to be fix on the wall.
- [18:49] Liv: Ok. that’s what I wanted to check. if need to center it then it has ability to slide few inches etc.
- [18:50] Rick: yes, here is the user guide
- [18:50] Rick: so you can have an idea.
