The Insta-RP is a pliable (rear-projection) material that transforms windows into a quality projector screen.  It is ideal for storefront displays and as of late, is finding a handy place in outdoor home theater presentations. The customer asked for a screen that looks good from in front or behind and Team member Rick suggested another alternative but when the customer saw it, she was pleased by the diversity of the option.

• 8:29:22 AM         Alicia – Good Morning, I ordered a sample of the Insta-RP Rear Projection screen that’s pliable to a window. It’s not as clear as I hoped. Is there a difference betwen the InstaRP and the InstaRP2?
• 8:31:25 AM                Rick – Yes, there is a considerable difference between the two.  However, neither is clearly transparent like a window pane.  Just a moment and I will be back with a link to a comparison table and further explanation on what distinguishes each from another.
• 8:35:07 AM                Rick – Both materials are “frosty”, meaning that they are translucent but not transparent.  The  Insta-RP (Wraithveil) material  is .17mm thick and has high dispersion so that a projector can project directly onto the material without the glare of the lamp being seen on the other side. The Insta-RP2 (Wraithveil2) has a lighter .1mm thickness and has medium dispersion meaning that it is for off-axis projectors since the glow of the lamp can be seen on the opposite side if projecting directly.  Both materials permit the same degree of light penetration but are of a different consistency depending on how each diffuses projected light into making a good projected image.
