  • [16:49]        Rick: Thank you for contacting Elite Screens.  How may I help you?
  • [16:49] Customer: Are the outside screens designed to be left up? setting up a model home, they don’t want to have to remove every day.
  • [16:50] Customer: They want a solution that stays up all year realizing it will have to be replaced every few years
  • [16:50]        Rick: We do have a retractable outdoor screen that is design to leave outside. The only screen I’d leave out would be something like the Yard Master Manual series.  It will retract back into its casing to be protected from the elements. Any type of projection screen material left out in direct sunlight would be destroyed in relatively short order. Here is the product link.

  • [16:51] Customer: Checking.
  • [16:52] Customer: no fixed options available, correct? only retractable?
  • [16:52]        Rick: That is correct.  A fixed frame outdoor screen would be destroyed by direct sunlight in a relatively short period of time.
  • [16:52] Customer: understood switching gears to another room. Do you have a recommendation for a higher end theater screen – fixed?
  • [16:53] Customer: Indoor
